51 job seekers, 30+ roles, and real conversations: Careers Zone at PG Connects Nordics 2026
Pocket Gamer Connects Nordics has wrapped up, and we’re leaving with new connections, useful conversations, and plenty to think about!
But for many attendees, one space stood out: the Careers Zone.
This year, 51 job seekers joined us at the Careers Zone. We brought more than 30 job opportunities from across Europe and spent time helping candidates review their CVs and portfolios. We also attended talks, met with people across the games industry, and had a fantastic time doing it.
Making the match more personal.
A job title and a CV are only part of the picture. A good match also depends on a person’s experience, strengths, interests, and the kind of work they hope to do next.
That’s why the Careers Zone is built around connecting talent with relevant opportunities. Candidates can present their experience and explore roles that fit their profile, while studios can discover people whose skills and ambitions align with what they need. What Made Careers Zone Stand Out
At PG Connects, we brought that purpose into the room. CV and portfolio reviews gave job seekers a chance to talk through how they present their work and get practical feedback. Alongside those reviews, conversations with candidates and studios helped us hear what people are looking for and what makes a connection useful.
Bringing opportunities and people together
With more than 30 roles from across Europe, there was a broad set of opportunities to discuss. Every candidate brings a different combination of skills and experience, and every role has its own requirements. The aim is to help people find the opportunities worth exploring—and help studios meet talent they might not otherwise have found.
The meetings and talks were valuable parts of the two days as well. They gave us a chance to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, hear different perspectives, and stay close to the conversations shaping the games industry.
